This past Saturday, February 27th, Prime Time Sport gathered the five most important Spanish Youtubers of football content sat down to narrate the Real Madrid – Atlético de Madrid. The event was live streamed by the YouTube channel Primetubers and the website of Marca, the most important sports newspaper in Spain. A pioneer, fun and enjoyable experience that was followed by more than 60,000 people. The hashtag #YoutubersenMarca was trending topic during great part of the match and the event was the second most followed post in the website of Marca.
@DjMaRiio with 1 million subscribers in the video platform led the group which together has a combined audience of 2.5 million subscribers and more than 1 million followers on social media.
Video content is a must, and the audience is creating their own timetable of contents which allows to combine a football match (in silent mode) on TV and live streaming of Youtubers commenting the match in their smartphones.
This project led by Prime Time Sport is bringing a new opportunity to position Youtubers as key figures in the sports landscape and also for brands to engage with their audience through an innovative video content.
