Messi chosen to be the ambassador of Buenos Aires in the city’s latest global campaign
As he prepares to defend the jersey of Team Argentina, Lionel Messi was chosen by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to promote tourism with a display of leaflets and canopies at a global scale. Spain, Brazil and New York are a few examples of where the campaign is up and running.
Within days of the start of the World Cup in Brazil, Rosario stars in the campaign to attract tourists to the capital of Argentina.
Thus, in the streets of some cities can be seen several posters with the face of the star of Barcelona, next to a picture of the Planetarium and background with the caption: “Don’t miss Buenos Aires.”
Selected Argentine captain is the ambassador of the upcoming Olympic Youth Games, to be held in the capital of Argentina in 2018. His image can be seen in the glass canopies and in the taxis around the World.
