Nike ambassadors in “The Last Game”

Nike‘s “Risk everything” campaign has been huge and it’s a great example of how to take advantage of partnering with football stars. In the latest advert, Nike is using animation to recreate “The Last Game” between football players and clones, a game that will define if football can be reduced to automatized movements and actions or if there’s more to it.

Ronaldo encourages Tim Howard, Andrés Iniesta, Neymar Jr., David Luiz, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Frank Ribery and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to play for their honor and to prove that football is much more than just a game.

Brands like Nike, Adidas or more recently Beats by Dre. have had great success using football ambassadors to promote their products, proving that using brand ambassadors is very effective marketing. In this advert, Nike reached around 5m views in only 24h.
