Neymar Jr very active with Guaraná Antartica

Guaraná Antartica keeps launching new commercials and doing activities to activate its partnership with Neymar Jr in Brazil.

FC Barcelona star Neymar Jr has been among the most marketable football players for some years, and one of his most loyal partners is Guaraná Antartica.

Guaraná is a guaraná-flavoured soft drink, originating in Brazil and manufactured and distributed by Anheuser-Busch InBev. It’s the second best-selling soft drink brand in Brazil behind the giant Coca-Cola and one of the official sponsors of Brazilian national team.

Neymar Jr has a long standing relationship with the brand and has been involved in different TV ads and campaigns through the years. In the past months he has been very active in his role as an ambassador for Guaraná. The first one of the videos that come next was a bit controversial and generated some polarizing reactions from Brazilians, some of who loved it and some of who were embarrassed, thinking that it could well be offensive to foreigners. Other Brazilians have not liked the way it may stereotype Brazilians as both fun loving and unreliable.

 

In this important year for football several TV commercials and campaigns featuring the Brazilian star have been launched and in the most recent one, we could see Neymar Jr promoting the brand in Barcelona, while waiting for Felipe Scolari’s list for the World Cup.

He was interviewed and took part in a photo-shoot with the Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, who sings along with Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez the official song of the World Cup “We are one”. Booth Neymar Jr and Claudia Leitte are involved in the brand’s latest promotional campaign around the World Cup and they show they get along very well and there is good chemistry between them, while giving exclusive interviews for different media in Barcelona.
