The talented and controversial Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been chosen by Ubisoft to promote the newest videogame of the saga Assassin’s Creed. The game is set in London in 1868 and Diego Costa had to travel in time to be dressed up as a XIX century footballer. The promotion of the game included a photo shoot with the player and an exclusive interview that would later provide good exposure to the brand when published in different media.
The originality of the action made the brand gain some extra visibility when it caught the attention of different publications, not only in the UK but also in Spain, for example. Below these lines a caption from British The Sun.
