FC Barcelona’s defender, Marc Bartra, might be having an irregular season on the pitch but he is certainly seeing how brands trust him and are giving him opportunities off the pitch. We recently saw him feature next to Dani Carvajal (another player whose commercial appeal is increasing fast) in the latest campaign by Jack&Jones (see here) and most recently he has been chosen by Estrella Damm (an official partner of FC Barcelona) and Danone to be the face of their latest campaigns.
Estrella Damm organized a meet and greet with some fans in the old Estrella Damm factory and all the people that were present in the event were delighted with the presence of the football star and surprised with how nice and humble he was. The event got some nice media coverage that granted good exposure to Estrella Damm afterwards when it was published in different newspapers (see Mundo Deportivo in the example below).
Marc Bartra also participated recently in an act organized by Danone to promote the popular Danone Nations Cup. In this occasion the FC Barcelona player attended with RCD Espanyol’s captain, Sergio García. Again, it got good exposure to the brand when the different media and journalists present in the event published it in their newspapers.
