Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Neymar Jr. promote Nike’s newest products
Cristiano Ronaldo is Nike‘s biggest ambassador (at least football wise) and he has been chosen to promote some of the brand’s newest products. Nike continues to back its latest strategy and it’s the cartoon version of Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrés Iniesta, Wayne Rooney and Neymar Jr. that promotes the newest products.
The strategy proved very effective when Nike launched the TV Ad “The last of us”, part of the campaign “Risk Everything”. In the advert animated versions of the brand’s biggest ambassadors were the protagonists and Nike has kept using the same strategy ever since. It’s easier to get new content because the presence of the ambassador is not needed to produce a new piece of advertisement.
