Messi Stands for Good with Ooredoo

Messi‘s newest campaign for Ooredoo – international arab telecom – has been released under the name #StandForGood.

Leo Messi – his global ambassador since 2013 – supports the company  in various programmes to increase the life chances of young people in the Middle East, North Africa and South-East Asia to help them fulfill their hopes and dreams.

After the success of the campaign #SimplyDoWonders during FIFA World Cup 2014 they now repeat the formula activating again their deal with the Argentinian in a spectacular ad, that you can see below these lines, in which “cybor Messi” helps a group of children in a football match against a group of teenagers.

Messi‘s relationship with Ooredoo goes beyond purely a marketing arrangement and since 2014 Leo Messi Foundation teamed up with the company to offer Mobile Health Clinics reaching more than 2 million young people in Algeria, Indonesia, Myanmar and Tunisia by 2016.

Messi declared: “I’m very happy to be working with Ooredoo as we share the same idea that practical steps make a difference. When I visit sick children in a hospital, I realize the positive impact that public figures can have. It’s exciting to partner with a global group like Ooredoo, who can help to extend our Foundation’s work into new markets, to support communities that need help and support young people to have the best chance to make their dreams come true.”
